My Opinion Of The Concept2 Rowing Machine

By Kathy Chu

I was never extremely considering the sport of indoor rowing until I tried a Concept2 Indoor Rowing Machine. Like mast other forms of aerobic exercise gear you notice at a fitness center, I assumed a rowing machine would be boring and not offer any muscle-building advantages.

I was not right about that

What I came to know was that indoor rowers provide lots of different exercise routines. They keep individuals from getting bored, meaning they are most likely to continue their exercise routine. Whether you are trying to lose weight or increase muscle or both, you will get results quicker when you exercise consistently.

They are also very practical. I did not recognize how light-weight and easy one of these machines was to move until I picked it up and carried it across the room. I was able to do it almost effortlessly with one hand. I was really surprised. This factor alone made me think it would be the ideal piece of home workout equipment. I could easily move it from room to room and afterwards store it out of view when I was not using it.

I also had no trouble listening to songs or watching a good movie while working out. I confess, occasionally I would like a diversion or an escape while I am exercising. With a loud piece of workout equipment, you can't hear music or watch a movie. In some cases this means that I will not workout at all.

When I used to run a lot, I would finish a workout and then have to integrate a strength-building routine for my upper body. With the Concept2 Indoor Rowing Machine, I do not need to do that. All major muscle groups get a good workout on the machine, and in less time.

This provides me more time to do other activities that I enjoy. It also provides me much more motivation to exercise on a rower, considering that I know it will get me more results faster than other alternative exercise routines.

As you can see, I am a huge fan of this rowing machine, but there is another thing I want to discuss. I enjoy working out outdoors. Typically I do not like indoor exercise classes or gyms. However, due to the fact that the C2 is so light-weight and convenient to carry around, I simply roll it outdoors and enjoy working out in the sunlight. If this is a concern that you are worried about, you do not have to be.

If you're thinking of buying home workout equipment, like an indoor rower, try one out initially. Numerous gyms have them, or your local workout equipment shop may let you test drive one. Then, you can shop online to find the lowest priced deal on the device you want.
