Scuba Dive On Great Spots Around The Globe

By Lora Jones

All divers need to know what places to visit when it comes to finding the best Massachusetts Scuba diving spot. For them, nothing is more important than to see the beauty of nature in the perspective of living things under water. It is therefore necessary to have an idea where to submerge yourself to get the best view of the deep blue sea.

First, explore the beauty offered in the red sea of Egypt especially around Dahab and the area of Blue Hole. With vast coverage of millions of corals and crystal clear waters, this is a good spot to start. Because of its warm water, excellent visibility, ease of access and well maintained coral reefs, it is one of the preferred destinations especially by newbies.

The Manta Village, Lanai, and Molokini Crater of Hawaii is also a site to see. It has unique types of fish present in these parts of the ocean. You can listen to the hymns of the humpback whales while swimming with manta rays. Not to mention, they also have luminous underwater caves.

The 1,430 miles of Great Barrier Reef in Australia along the northern coast contains hundreds of fish species and shipwrecks. Some would even say that even if you spend a year unearthing everything in this place, no one could unravel its marvels. It is really a challenge.

A popular scuba spot since 1970 would definitely be the Turks and Caicos islands of the Caribbean. It is known to be the third largest coral reef system with calm waters and colorful marine life. It contains shallow waters for snorkelers as well as deep waters for plungers who want to go hundreds of feet to the ocean floor.

Mexico is a great competitor in this battle of the best scuba spot. The peninsula contains sinkholes filled with freshwater know as cenotes that are connected back to the past of the Mayan era. The coasts reaching from Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, and Central America have multiple operators that offer night dives, shipwreck dives, and even photography underwater.

The Galapagos Islands of Ecuador is impressive because of the legendary hammerheads, whale sharks, seals and dolphins. Tourism in the area is controlled by preventing people to land the islands. Liveaboards are the only means of exploring this place so make sure to book ahead of time during the months of May to October when the shark migration season is present.

Last, but not the least, explore the wonders of the reefs in Florida Keys. Aside from the brilliant marine life and neon colored fish, you can explore historic shipwrecks under the clear and calm waters during May and June. When it is hurricane season and you want to avoid danger, you can always visit the History of Diving Museum on Islamorada.

Spending a hobby like Massachusetts Scuba diving in an exceptional place will surely add more zest to a sea lover. It is becoming a rampant recreational activity leading to many business opportunities. Although we think of fun when we do this, we must always be reminded of the dangers that can be avoided by seeking professional help.
