Keep a fitness diary showing what you did during your day. Use it to keep track of each type of exercise you do and the length of time for each. Buy a pedometer that you can use to track how many steps you take each day and include that in your record, also. Both tennis and racquetball players have discovered one of the secrets to strong forearms. Start buy laying a piece of newspaper on a table or other flat surface. Crumple the whole newspaper for 30 seconds, using your stronger hand. You should do this twice before switching hands, doing it once with the non-dominant hand, and then switching back to the dominant hand two more times.

However, you run the risk of straining or over-extending that one particular side or muscle group, while minimizing the desired results.

Take short breaks every so often during the work day so you do not develop deep vein thrombosis. Take the time to stand up and move your body approximately every 20 minutes. Get your blood flowing by stretching your arms and legs. Your fitness level can benefit from a little bit of light exercise a few times a day.

When cycling, steady does it gets the job done best. You will get tired very easily if you pedal too fast. Keep a simple and steady pace in order to build endurance. You will keep yourself from getting tired faster if you do this. Pedaling at a steady pace allows you to know when you're about to get an injury, because you're able to feel your muscles better.
