A real time PCR kit is the package that is used be technologists to analyse for the presence of messenger RNAs in the sample. It is formally called a reverse transcriptase PCR. However, it is usually called real time PCR, a term which was protested by the experts.

Research laboratories have extensive use of this method. The most common use of the procedure is in the manufacture of copies of genes, human or otherwise. Another main role of this method is to detect and quantify the amount of RNA contained in the sample. Samples used range from as small as single cells extracted under the microscope to tissues removed using biopsy. With its main uses, it is classified as a method with major use in the examination of life. Researchers use the result from this procedure to conduct cloning, gene analysis, genome assay, and diagnosis of diseases.

In the diagnosis of diseases, the RT PCR is useful even for small amounts of samples. This makes it easy for the technicians to conduct since most of the samples are difficult to collect. An example of the precious sample utilized in the analysis is a portion of the bone marrow that has contacted leukemia. The marrow is screened to determine the presence of one or more established signatures that help the doctors classify the illness.

Every disease that has been tested using the PCR have an established signature stored in disease databases. Once the particular signature is identified, it would be easier for the doctor to plan the course of treatment. The identified cases are also used in continuing studies of the different illnesses to help in the formulation of new drugs and medical aid for the patients.

Study of genetic signatures are also using PCR kits extensively. Several of the procedures used in the tests were utilized in identifying nucleotides present in the sample. There are also extensive tests that quantify the nucleotides of different types.

Genome can also be utilized to determine the relationships between different bodily functions and the impact it has to other organs and functions. All information from the studies are used in other advanced researches. These more elaborate studies often include computations and applications in processes of the living organism.

The importance of RNA relative to the study of DNA stretches in cloning calls for several protocols in the package to be used.
